The Interdisciplinary Research Center on Biology and Chemistry (IRCBC), the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, is a rapidly growing collaborative research organization in China in collaboration with the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (https://ircbc.ac.cn/ircbcEn.jsp). The vision of IRCBC is to bring outstanding biologists, chemists and computational biologists to work side-by-side at the interface of biology, chemistry, and computational-AI sciences to address the most interesting and important biological questions that are broadly relevant to human diseases, including but not limited to neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, inflammatory and metabolic diseases. The IRCBC offers long-term stable support for research, highly competitive salary, benefits and generous housing allowance, modern laboratory space and state-of-the-art core facilities. In areas of AI-computational biology, we welcome applications from recent PhD graduates with demonstrated research excellence to establish their own independent research groups in IRCBC.

IRCBC is seeking applicants with expertise in following areas:

-       Cellular and molecular biology, and structural biology;

-       Human and animal model studies of neurological and neurodegenerative diseases and drug target identifications;

-       Genomics and RNA-targeting mechanisms for neurodegenerative diseases;

-       AI-assisted molecular designs in small and large molecule drug development;

-       Chemical biology and medicinal chemistry.
